has gloss	eng: AdvancedTCA Extensions for Instrumentation and Test (AXIe) is a new modular instrumentation standard created by its three founding members: * Aeroflex Inc * Agilent Technologies * Test Evolution Corporation (Note as of June 30 2009 Aeroflex has a controlling shareholding in Test Evolution Inc ) AXIe is an open standard based on AdvancedTCA (ATCA) that is targeted to general-purpose instrumentation and semiconductor test. AXIe leverages existing standards from AdvancedTCA, PXI, LAN eXtensions for Instrumentation (LXI), and IVI.
